Anthem has been a great partner with MLG and Gamebattles for the last four years. They have brought creativity, flexibility, and dedication to all their projects. We’ve seen extraordinary growth during this time and Anthem has been right there with us, keeping our sites fresh and accessible.

Details
In early 2004, popular competitive gaming site Gamebattles worked with Anthem to generate custom game-specific skins for their online arenas. Their successful collaboration resulted in the formation of an exciting, professional image for the site, helping to increase its value and attract new members.
When Major League Gaming aquired Gamebattles in late 2006, they commissioned Anthem with the task of completely redesigning the site to more closely reflect their brand. Due to Gamebattles' user-centric nature, usability also became a focus. The website revolves around a large community with an arena-based competition system, handling over 1,000,000 gamers and 50 games across multiple countries. Anthem created an assortment of web ads, installed a custom icon set, simplified and powered up the arena launch system, integrated the community forums into the site's architecture, and built in the expansive social networking/blog system My GB, supporting user-generated galleries, blogs, messaging, and videos.
Today, Gamebattles is the largest competitive gaming site on the web, with over 500,000 registered users on My GB, 800,000 teams competing in its arenas, and 11 million posts in its forums.
