Details

Anthem has enjoyed a long and productive relationship with Major League Gaming (MLG), the preeminent force in competitive online gaming.  Following their acquistion of Gamebattles.com, one of Anthem's successful design assignments, MLG commissioned Anthem to design print invitations for one of their Pro Circuit events.  Then, working both with Rokkan Media and directly with MLG, Anthem delivered dozens of layouts and designs for MLGpro.com's site redesign.  Anthem also aided in the beta launch of GameRoom, MLG's popular user-generated video site, and provided designs for their online newsletter.

MLG also tasked Anthem with the design and development of MLG's AOL Expressions pack and the their MySpace layout, which included a dynamic Flash image gallery.  Despite MySpace's stringent permissions and coding restrictions, Anthem was able to deliver an aesthetic layout that integrated with a Ruby on Rails CMS framework developed by Killswitch Collective. Next, Anthem created eye catching Xbox Live ads with the new slogan "MLG is professional gaming." The ads featured top professional gamers engulfed in a red and blue flame, promoting MLG's new television show on USA Network.  After MLG's aquired MMO Champion, a Massively Multiplayer Online game-dedicated blog site, they came to Anthem to redesign the logo for advertising and merchandising purposes.
